70W x 2 Stero Amplifier
Using four 6N8Ps and two 12AT7s at the preamp stage, the PAK140 has 4 Psvane KT88s for delivering its output. The KT88 was originally designed for hi-fi manufacturers for its high-power and low-distortion characteristics. The Psvane tubes are frequently said to have a tonal quality that outperforms that of the Telefunken’s. The great clean tone and yet incredibly powerful full spectrum of signal handling allow KT88 to excel at reproducing the sounds of the string sections in the orchestra. The PAK140 does a great job at showcasing the honest, clean and powerful sound the KT88 is capable of. Aesthetically, the pristine metallic coldness expressed in its design makes a gallant statement about the theme presented by Psvane – ‘The Sounds of the Aristocrats’. PAK140 makes for a proud addition to your sound system.
