Using six 12AU76s at the preamp stage, the PAE090B uses 4 EL34s to deliver its output.  The EL34 is a rugged tube and in this audio amp will deliver its signature “euphony” (richness and lushness) in the midrange.  In particular, the EL34 excels at reproducing horns and female vocals with a silky texture that comes from the best of breed in valve instruments.  The high-gain EL34 tube delivers great clean tone and at the same time offers incredibly powerful mids with equally powerful bass.  The PAE090B does a great job at showcasing the beautiful sound the EL34 is capable of.  In addition to its aesthetically appealing design, it presents a pristine metallic coldness that says a lot of its character.  PAE090B makes for a proud addition to your sound system.
