The PAE080A packs 4 EL34s in the final stage while using eight 6J1s for the preamp stage.  The EL34 is a rugged tube and in this audio amp will deliver its signature velvety-smooth-mids.  In particular, the EL34 excels at reproducing horns and female vocals with a silky texture that comes from the best of breed in valve instruments.  The high-gain EL34 tube delivers great clean tone and at the same time offers incredibly powerful mids with equally powerful bass.  The PAE080A does a great job at showcasing the beautiful sound, the EL34 is capable of.  In addition to that, the PAO80A is a handsome piece of equipment that will make for a proud addition to your sound system.
